![]() ![]() It might be my lack of skills being more of a drummer than a synth player/programmer but for me most of the Arturia lineup has an Arturia sound more than the sound of the synths they’re presenting in the Collection.Yeah in the right hands a skilled programmer can get great results with the Arturia lineup but to my ears U-he just nails it. There’s an interesting thread I read recently on GS where Urs mentions the rumor of Andy(Cytomic) is possibly working on a synth and Urs even sounded intrigued by the possibilities as Andy is one of the most talented developers in regards to filters. ![]() I’m not wealthy and I love a good sale but I get way more mileage from the U-he synths. I’d have no hesitation in choosing the U-he line up at a much higher price point. If I had to do it over again and choose either the V Collection ( at $200) vs Diva,Repro and Zebra at full price. 6 while it’s nice by softsynh standards the U-he lineup of synths sound more like the real thing.įor me the Arturia synths while nice just always sound a bit generic and off to me,agreed the filters are a big part of the equation. I have to agree,I have the Arturia V Collection vers. It’s not always about the price or the quantity of synth emulations in a bundle.
